Where to begin?

This is my first ever attempt at blogging. I was spurred to create one out of necessity. What is this necessity? Haha, an assignment for my IT class. Though I find it hard to believe anyone would be interested in reading my ramblings. Maybe I will be quite pleasantly surprised, doubtful but just maybe.

Currently I am battling a very nasty cold and am quite foggy-headed, so forgive me. Yesterday during my math class I had to excuse myself so I could go outside and cough up my left lung. It wasn't very attractive, but thankfully no one was around to witness it. I don't really feel bad, but man do I sound horrible.

Speaking of math, talk about a thorn in my side. When I was much younger I excelled in math ... until I hit Geometry. I honestly couldn't tell you if it was poor teaching or my complete who-gives-a-care attitude that did me it. It was the only F I ever got in high school, well besides that one F in citizenship. =) It was so many years ago and I had permanently blocked geometry and math from my mind. When I began school again and discovered it was required in order for me to pursue either of career goals (Nursing or Radiology) I panicked. Math095 was easy, Math096 was pretty doable once I put my mind to it, but Math120... I just don't know. Right now it is logarithms tormenting me, they make no sense! I will keep plugging away however, as I really need to get this over with.

Hopefully my next post will have more sustenance in it, possibly when my mind isn't clouded by cold meds.
